Several months remain until one of the biggest music festivals, Coachella, returns to California, but rumors about who the potential performers will be haven’t stopped. A music industry publication, Hits Daily Double, has said Dua Lipa and Tame Impala are expected to headline the festival and British DJ and singer-songwriter Fred Again.. is also set to perform, as reported by Consequence.
If HDD’s reports are accurate, it will make for Tame Impala’s fifth Coachella appearance (headlining in 2019 and performing in 2015, 2013 and 2011), Fred Again..’s second appearance after joining Four Tet and Skrillex to replace Frank Ocean’s Weekend 2 set in 2023 and Dua Lipa’s very first Coachella performance. It also leaves the door open on who the final headliner will be.
This year’s Coachella lineup was announced on September 16th of 2025, when festival-goers discovered Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G would headline. Assuming Coachella stays true to this year’s schedule, we should get explicit confirmation of the performers in the coming weeks. Coachella 2027 will take place on the weekends of April 9th to 11th and April 16th to 18th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
