The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band RUSH four-night stand in their hometown of Toronto will be captured for an upcoming concert film. As part of their ongoing “Fifty Something” reunion tour, with Geddy Lee and fellow classic member Alex Lifeson are joined by drummer Anika Nilles (filling the shoes of the late Neil Peart) and keyboardist Loren Gold has been met with overwhelming success thus far with sold-out arenas and rave reviews has extends into December.
“It’s always a hard decision as to where to film a live concert. Given the limited cities we are able to play, the demand for such a film has been off the charts, not only as a keepsake of their experience, but for those many fans that have not been able to see it live.
Toronto being hometown made it a natural choice, and being the last mini-residency of 4 shows, playing over 40 songs which gives us the best chance to capture it all…,” said RUSH singer-bassist Geddy Lee via an Instagram post.
The RUSH tour which began early June has been met with universal praise. As fans who traveled from all across the globe to make it a special week.
