Day 2 of Warped tour continued the hype from Day 1. The rope drop was just as packed as Day 1 and fans rushed to get to their favorite bands stage to begin the day. Kevin Lyman has become a legend by getting the best bands to come out. The only difference between the two days, were the dress code. Fans were seen throughout the festival with more clothes on to protect from the sun and a lot more people had water bottles to stay hydrated. The activities did not stop for day 2 either. at the start they had a wrestling ring and would have live matches throughout the day. Mascots were spotted throughout the festival with Mosh Pete, the “Pit Kid”, and the Anaheim Ducks Mascot ‘Wildwing’, all bringing the fans together and having some fun with them as well. Every fan made sure to let all the bands and mascots know how much they are adored by taking pictures and dancing with them as well. Many bands joined the crowds after their set to join in on a mosh pit.
As Day 2 started to wind down and come to an end, the festival was still jam packed until the very last song. Fans had the choice to choose between two closing finales, Papa Roach, and Hawthorne Heights. Papa Roach and Hawthorne Heights brought every person in attendance back to their emo stage from either middle school or high school with their songs from the early 2000’s. It was one of the best performances to date as fans were crying and dancing like crazy. The Warped Tour’s latest stop in Long Beach was one for the ages and presales for next year is already live as it was announced at the end of Day 2. A lot of these bands that played this weekend are already looking forward to coming back next year and showing love once again.
