One of New Jersey’s best exports, alt-rock band Bleachers, is playing at Skirball Center. The band found early success with their debut single, “I Wanna Get Better,” which took the internet by storm. Their first album, Strange Desire, was released in July of that year, reaching number two on Billboard’s Top Alternative and Rock Albums chart.
Join the Bleachers at NYU Skirball Center for The Ally Coalition’s 11th Talent Show. Curated by Jack Antonoff, Bleachers’ frontman, and his sibling Rachel Antonoff, the duo are the co-founders of TAC. TAC, or The Ally Coalition, is an organization that mobilizes music fans to fight against youth LGBTQ+ discrimination. Proceeds from the annual talent show will go to support community centers and unhoused LGBTQ+ youth across America.
The Bleachers will headline, accompanied by a variety of performers. They will share the stage with the likes of MUNA, Sara Bareilles, and comedian Hasan Minhaj, to name a few. Check out TAC’s Annual Talent Show at Skirball Center on December 15th at 8:00 p.m.
