

London-born singer-songwriter Sam Smith is playing Warsaw Theater accompanied by The War and Treaty. This performance is part of Smith’s residency in New York with the release of their new album Free to Be. They will be performing 24 intimate concerts at Brooklyn’s historic Warsaw Theater, a can’t-miss event. Smith came onto the mainstream music scene in 2012 with features on songs like “La La La” and “Latch,” captivating audiences with their powerful voice. Their debut album The Lonely Hour produced worldwide commercial successes such as “Stay With Me,” “Lay Me Down,” and “I’m Not the Only One.” These heartfelt, soulful ballads take listeners on a journey of unrequited love and help solidify their place in the pop and soul world.
The War and Treaty is made up of husband-and-wife duo Tanya and Michael Trotter Jr. Their debut album Healing Tide was awarded the 2022 American Music Honors Duo of the Year. Most recently, they made the news with their breathtaking and heartfelt rendition of the national anthem.
