Fresh off the release of his expanded album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going: The Complete Edition, Shaboozey has announced his first U.S. headline tour, The Great American Roadshow Tour. Produced by Live Nation and backed by Coors Light and Jack Daniels, the tour launches September 22nd in Indianapolis and travels through Detroit, Nashville, Houston, Fort Worth and more.
The announcement follows a massive year for the artist, who recently performed during both weekends of Coachella and made history with his platinum smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” His song topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs chart. The single also shattered airplay records, hitting #1 on Radio Songs, Country Airplay, Pop Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay.
In other news, with the release of his extended version Shaboozey collaborated with rapper and singer Jelly Roll on a track named “Amen.” Following the release of the album, Shaboozey has shared what this extended album’s release has meant to him personally. Recently, Shaboozey also performed with Jelly Roll at Stagecoach as he brought him out as a special guest to debut their new collaboration.
“Putting out the completed version of Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going meant a lot to me — it felt like finishing a conversation I wasn’t quite done having,” he remarked. The artist emphasizes how these songs have been a platform for reflection, healing, and aspirations for the future, traits that resonate through every beat and lyric in “Amen.”
Alongside this track the original and extended album includes collaborations with British singer Myles Smith, Sierra Ferrell and Noah Cyrus.
