

The Weeknd has canceled his concert at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles that was scheduled for January 25, and postponed the release of his forthcoming album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” until January 31. The artist shared the announcement via social media.
“Out of respect and concern for the people of Los Angeles County, I am canceling the Rose Bowl concert originally scheduled for January 25th,” the singer wrote on Instagram on Monday.
“This city has always been a profound source of inspiration for me, and my thoughts are with everyone impacted during this difficult time. In light of this, I have also decided to push the release of my album to January 31st. My focus remains on supporting the recovery of these communities and aiding its incredible people as they rebuild.

The “One Night Only” show was arranged to promote the singer’s upcoming album “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” The record was originally set to release on January 24, but has been pushed back to January 31. Those who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be issued refunds automatically.
“Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final chapter of the Weeknd’s trilogy project following his 2020 album “After Hours” and 2022’s “Dawn FM.” The upcoming album will be accompanied by a film with the same title, starring the Weeknd, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. The film will be released only in theaters on May 16. The record will also be followed by a world tour, dates are yet to be announced.
