This summer, newly minted pop superstar Tate McRae is taking on her Miss Possessive World Tour beginning on Mar. 18, 2025. She will make her way to Chicago on Aug. 15, 2025, for a performance at the United Center with opener Zara Larsson.
Tate McRae, Canadian singer, songwriter, and dancer began her journey in the public eye in 2013 as a finalist on the reality show So You Think You Can Dance. In 2017, she released eight singles prior to being signed by RCA Records in 2019. Her 2020 EP, all the things i never said, catapulted her music career.
Although she has only released two studio albums, i used to think i could fly (2022), and THINK LATER (2024), she has gained enormous popularity through her music. She has also released 39 singles and three EPs.
On her 2021 EP, TOO YOUNG TO BE SAD, she featured the song “you broke me first”, which gained major commercial success and surfed the radio waves. From there, people started paying more attention to McRae and she began making her way up the Billboard Charts.
2023 and 2024 were monumental years for the pop star with singles like “Greedy” and “It’s ok I’m ok”, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100. She is also nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy award.
She is known for her buttery yet raspy vocals accompanied by her electric dance moves. She has taken the pop world by storm and is taking her success on tour.
Tate McRae is set to embark on the Miss Possessive World Tour in 2025. She will take the stage at United Center in Chicago on Aug. 15, 2025, with opener Zara Larsson. Tickets can be purchased now through Ticketmaster.com.
