Pop-star Kesha has wrapped up 2024 with the highly anticipated single “Delusional.” The captivating single blends Kesha’s influential lyrics with her typical pop melody. The release of “Delusional” comes shortly after the release of another exciting single and video “JOYRIDE.”  Good Star Vibes praised “JOYRIDE” saying, “Kesha has never been one to shy away from bold statements, and her new music video for “JOYRIDE’ is a testament to her fearless creativity. Released under her independent label Kesha Records, the video is an exhilarating blend of Tarantino-style visuals, personal empowerment, and high-octane action. “Delusional” is an empowering song where Kesha embraces herself. Her lyrics, “Baby, you’re delusional/Thinking you could ever find/Somethin’ that’s as beautiful (Oh)/Someone with a love like mine (Mine).” Kesha explores herself and recognizes qualities that make her unique. This song is influential and inspires her fans to also recognize their own beautiful qualities. 

The video is an image of brown leather bags with the term “Delusional” spray-painted on each one. The bags pictured seem to be Hermes Birkin bags which are typically very expensive which can represent Kesha’s high worth as a person. The spray painting on the bags shows how someone could have tainted her image by believing that Kesha is not worth much. The one image portrayed is extremely powerful and fully encapsulates the message that Kesha puts within her song. 

According to a press release, Kesha was just named as “Music Icon” at GLAMOUR Germany’s 2024 Women of the Year awards. This title is just another under Kesha umbrella of achievements which include 3B music streams worldwide. Along with the streams, she is also a 2x Grammy Award-nominated artist. These achievements prove the anticipation behind “Delusional.”
