Bad Religion and Slaughterhouse are set to perform a surprise show at the Garden Amp in Garden Grove. The show will take place on Thursday, June 6 as part of the No Values sideshows series.
The inaugural No Values Festival is set to happen on Saturday, June 8 at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA. Ahead of the major festival, it has a few headlining sideshows have been announced from various artists playing the festival, in the days surrounding the major event. Veteran punk rock band Bad Religion will reunite with fellow Los Angles based punk band Slaughterhouse at the Garden Amp for their sideshow performance.
Slaughterhouse emerged from the South Bay of Los Angeles in late 2017 and hit the ground running with local and out-of-state shows, and an EP that would define their punk and death rock sound. They have continued to build their name playing energetic live shows. In 2022 they toured with Bad Religion and played sold out shows with Amyl & The Sniffers, and Destroy Boys, with no signs of slowing down. With Meriel O’Connell on vocals, Eddie Cairns on bass, Taylor Ramirez on guitar, and Nick Aguilar on drums, the band recently released their new single “State of Emergency.”
Bad Religion formed in LA in 1980 and are most notably known for their lyrics which often revolve around topics such as religion, politics, media and society. The band has undergone various line-up changes with vocalist and frontman Greg Graffin remaining the only constant member. The group started within the underground scene before emerging to mainstream with their major success in the ’90s. With 17 albums under their belt, Bad Religion is considered one of the best selling punk acts of all time.
