ATTENTION EARTH: The Human Musical Group Sensations Glass Animals: Tour of the Earth is coming to the Kia Forum on Saturday, September 14! Special guests Eyedress and Blondshell are set to join the lineup.
Glass Animals are embarking on a tour this fall starting on August 7 in Charlotte, NC before it concludes on November 7 in London, UK. The North American leg of the tour includes 27-dates across the US and Canada with its final show on September 22 in Austin, TX. Special guests Kevin Abstract, Eyedress and Blondshell will accompany Glass Animals on selected dates during the North American leg of the tour while The Big Moon will support the band during the UK and European leg of the tour. Proceeds from each ticket sold of the tour will go to an artist selected charity.
The tour is announced ahead of the band’s upcoming fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much, set to release on July 19, 2024 via Polydor Records. The album follows 2020’s Dreamland. The album’s lead single, “Creatures in Heaven” has been released. The English indie rock band has stated via their social media that the album captures love stories and human connection in all its forms referring to album as a “meaning of life record.
Glass Animals formed in 2010 in Oxford, England. The band consists of Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward. Their debut album, Zaba, was released in 2014 and features single “Gooey” which is certified platinum. In 2016 they released their second album How To Be A Human Being, earning several awards in the UK. Glass Animals is best recognized for their hit single “Heat Waves” from their third studio album Dreamland. The single’s live rendition earned the band their first Grammy Award nomination in 2022. This year, the band returns with new music and a full tour. The 41-date trek will see the indie rock band playing the biggest venues of their career so far.
