Dashboard Confessional has announced a US fall tour. The tour includes a stop at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on Sunday, October 6 with special guests Boys Like Girls and Taylor Acorn.
The newly announced tour kicks off in Asbury Park, NJ on September 10 and concludes in Irving, TX on October 27. The 28-date run includes stops in major cities such as Boston, New York, Chicago, Seattle, and more including a two-night appearance at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas. The tour includes three stops in SoCal including San Diego, Anaheim and Los Angeles before heading up to Sacramento. Boys Like Girls will serve as the main supporting artist throughout the tour.
Dashboard Confessional formed in Boca Raton, Florida in 1999 as a solo side project of Chris Carrabba. The band released their debut album, The Swiss Army Romance, in 2000 quickly followed by its second record, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, the following year. Following the second album’s success Dashboard Confessional performed it on MTV Unplugged, marking its first time being performed live with a full band. In 2003, the band released its third album, A Mark, A Brand, A Scar, peaking at No. 2 on the US Billboard charts. Dashboard Confessional is recognized for songs such as “Vindicated,” “Hands Down” and “Stolen.” Their most recent album, All The Truth That I Can Tell, was released in 2022. Last year, Dashboard Confessional toured with the Counting Crows on the Banshee Season Tour.
