Pallbearer has announced a lengthy headlining tour in support of their new album, Mind Burns Alive. The tour includes a stop at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, July 28 with support from Inter Arma and The Keening.
Pallbearer’s long-awaited album, Mind Burns Alive is set to release on May 17 via Nuclear Blast. The album is accompanied by a headlining tour with support from Inter Arma, REZN, Rwake and The Keening on varying dates. The tour kicks off on June 6 in Memphis, TN and is set to conclude on August 3 in Houston, TX. The 35-date tour includes stops in major cities such as Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, and the band’s hometown of Little Rock.
The album was initially planned to be recorded in 2020 but was delayed twice to be recorded in 2023. At that time, the band members were living close to each other facilitating the self-production of the new record. Vocalist and guitarist Brett Campbell described the new songs as a “deeper exploration of dynamics and sonic color than anything we have done up to this point.”
Campbell and Joseph D. Rowland formed Pallbearer in 2008 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The group was signed to Profound Lore Records in 2011 after self-releasing a three-song demo the year before. They debuted their first full length album Sorrow and Extinction in 2012, earning recognition by various publications. Their fourth studio album, Forgotten Days, was the band’s first release via Nuclear Blast and received generally positive reviews. Four years later, the band returns with their fifth studio record, Mind Burns Alive.
