Glen Hansard has announced a 2024 US headlining tour. The All That Was East Is West Of Me Now Tour includes a stop in Los Angeles, California’s venue The Wiltern on Tuesday, October 1.
Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard will be heading to the US with a full tour this fall. The US-leg of the All That Was East Is West Of Me Now Tour kicks off on August 24 in Denver, CO and concludes on October 1 in Los Angeles, CA. The 11-date run features stops in cities such as Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and more. Glen Hansard appeared on the special St. Patrick’s Day-themed episode of CBS This Morning: Saturday, where he performed three songs from his latest album, All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, for the “Saturday Sessions” series.
The newly announced shows will follow the Dark Matter World Tour in support of Pearl Jam late summer. Hansard will be opening for Pearl Jam during their summer US tour which kicks off on August 22 in Missoula, MT and concludes on September 17 in Boston, MA. Hansard will also be performing a short run of solo acoustic shows in the UK this April.
Glen Hansard is known as the frontman for rock bands The Frames and The Swell Season. In 2012 Hansard released his debut solo album Rhythm and Repose followed by his Grammy-nominated second album Didn’t He Ramble. His fifth solo album, All That Was East Is West Of Me Now was released on October 20, 2023 and features nine tracks. Hansard has also written music for films and theater, winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Falling Slowly” and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for the musical drama Once.
