Air is coming to Philly! Air is a French electronic music duo consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Formed in 1995 in Versailles, France, the pair has established themselves as pioneers in the realm of ambient, downtempo, and electronica music. With their debut album Moon Safari released in 1998, Air garnered widespread acclaim and commercial success, earning them a place in the forefront of the burgeoning electronic music scene of the late 1990s. The album featured iconic tracks such as “Sexy Boy” and “La Femme d’Argent,” which became instant classics.
Their 2024 tour, Air Play Moon Safari, is exactly what it implies- Air will be performing their classic debut album Moon Safari across Europe and North America. The tour will go from May all the way until the end of October. See them in Philly at The Met on October 17th!
