Bob Dylan at Moody Theater on April 5 & 6

In support of his 39th studio album, Rough & Rowdy Ways, legendary folk singer Bob Dylan will embark on the Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour this spring. The North American leg of the tour will stop in Austin, TX, for two back-to-back nights at the Moody Theater on April 5th and 6th, with Dylan taking the stage at 8 p.m.

Being one of the most influential figures in popular music and culture for over six decades, Bob Dylan needs no introduction. Born in 1941, Bob Dylan changed the landscape for folk music when he hit the scene in the early 1960s. Through his distinctive voice and social commentary lyrics, as seen in songs like, “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin’,” Dylan’s music became anthems for the civil rights and anti-war movements in America. Throughout the years, Dylan has remained true to his folk origins while reinventing himself by exploring various genres including rock, blues, country, and gospel.
