Live Review: John 5 at El Rey Theatre

John 5 performed to a packed crowd of fans, friends and VIPs on Saturday, January 27. Joining him at the El Rey Theatre were The Atomic Punks and Jared James Nichols.

Currently touring as John 5 & The Creatures, his set included 75 minutes of jam packed guitar riffs and solos, showcasing his incredible talent. John 5, who has played with numerous super stars of rock (David Lee Roth, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), is also currently touring with Motley Crue as a replacement for Mick Mars as of 2022. 5’s last personal studio album was released in October 2021, leaving fans desiring a new album from the guitarist. Regardless of new music or not, the fans at El Rey were living for the performance given to them, with all eyes focused on John 5 as his fingers raced on the guitar.
