Cold War Kids are heading out on tour soon to share their new music from their self-titled 10th studio album. The North American tour includes a stop at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on Thursday, March 21.
Indie rock band Cold War Kids released their 10th studio album on November 3, 2023 and are now hitting the road to celebrate their new music. The tour kicks off on January 31 in San Francisco, CA and is set to conclude on March 23 in Pioneertown, CA. The 30-date tour visits cities such as New York, Chicago, Toronto, and more with special guests Hovvdy and Joe P on selected dates. Cold War Kids will be accompanied by special guests Ruby Waters and BEL during the California leg of the tour which includes six shows down the coast of the Golden State.
Proceeds collected from the sale of a tour poster will be donated to SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, an organization of neighborhood organizers who recognize and provide support to unhoused individuals in LA. In a social media post, Cold War Kids stated: “We have been fortunate to volunteer and see first hand the amazing work with houseless and hungry they are doing in LA.”
Cold War Kids was founded in 2004 in Fullerton, California. With various lineup changes, two founding members remain – Nathan Willett and Matt Maus. Two decades later, the band and their music continue to evolve.
