The Offspring have announced a special show to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their third studio album Smash. The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 1 in Anaheim’s Honda Center, which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Punk rock veterans, The Offspring, are headed back to the Orange County for a double celebration honoring the 30 years of both the album Smash and the Honda Center. During their performance at Honda Center, The Offspring will play Smash in its entirety along with their biggest hits. “We’ve got some celebrating to do in Orange County,” the band stated in a press release. “Look out Honda Center…we’re coming for you!”

The Offspring released Smash in April 1994 becoming their first record to become Platinum. The album carries a number of hits singles including “Come Out and Play,” “Self-Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away.” Smash is one of the albums credited for bringing punk rock into the mainstream. The record reached No. 4 in the US Billboard 200 charts and sold over 11 million copies worldwide making it the best-selling album released by an independent record label.
