Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Garbage & More At KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas On Dec. 9

The 32nd Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas returns to the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, December 9, featuring performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Garbage, Portugal The Man, and more! Proceeds benefit Para Los Niños and the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center.

The annual LA KROQ radio station’s fest returned last year after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was created in 1989 and formerly called the KROQ Christmas Bash and has been on-going for over 30 years with listener’s favorite bands. This year’s lineup will also include Cannons, Bleachers, Lovejoy, Bakar, and The Beaches.

“KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas is a Southern California holiday tradition, and we’re excited to bring this year’s lineup back to the Kia Forum,” said Kevin Weatherly, Senior Vice President of Programming, KROQ. “Together, we’ll leverage the power of music to support Para Los Niños and Al Wooten Jr. Heritage – two local charities doing essential work to make a difference in the lives of our youth.”

KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas benefits two local organizations dedicated to supporting local youth education – Para Los Niños and Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center. Founded in 1980 in Skid Row, Los Angeles, Para Los Niños fosters pathways to success through excellence in education, powerful families, and strong communities for children and youth to thrive. Through free after-school and low-cost summer programs, the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center in Los Angeles revitalizes and empowers communities in crisis by providing a safe, nurturing environment committed to good citizenship and academic excellence.
