The Eagles Long Goodbye Tour At The Kia Forum On Jan. 5, 6, 12 & 13

The Eagles have announced their final tour, The Long Goodbye Tour with special guest Steely Dan. Due to an overwhelming demand of California concerts, the Eagles have added a fourth show at the Kia Forum. The rock band is set to perform at Inglewood’s Kia Forum on January 5, 6, 12 and 13.

The Los Angeles-based band announced on Monday, Oct. 4 that it would play a pair of hometown shows at the Forum on Friday, Jan. 5 and Saturday, Jan. 6. Due to popular demand, a third show was added for Friday, Jan. 12. Now the band has included a fourth and final show for Saturday, Jan. 13 which is set to officially close out the touring era for the “Hotel California” hit makers. The Long Goodbye tour is designed to add as many shows as needed to each city it visits to properly close out 52-years of performances for people all over the world. The Long Goodbye Tour features Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey.

The Eagles formed in 1971 in LA with founding members Henley, Bernie Leadon, Glenn Frey, and Randy Meisner. In 1972 they released their self-titled debut record which resulted in two hit singles “Take It Easy” and “Witchy Woman.” The Eagles quickly became one of the most successful musical acts of the ’70s released hits after hits. In 1976 the band introduced arguably their most popular records, their fifth studio album Hotel California which features two No. 1 singles “New Kid In Town” and “Hotel California.” Following their sixth studio album The Long Run and their 1980 Eagles Live record, the Eagles disbanded and took a 14 year hiatus. In 1998 the band was officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2007 the Eagles released their seventh and final studio album Long Road Out of Eden, the band has officially stated that it is highly unlikely for the band to record any follow-up records.
