The Dresden Dolls have announced a two new West Coast shows. The alternative duo is set to road-test brand new songs on Friday, December 8 at The Belasco in Los Angeles, California and on Saturday, December 9 at the Observatory North Park in San Diego, California.
The Dresden Dolls have a few run of shows left for 2023, most of which are already sold out. From October 24 through October 28 the alternative rock duo will perform four sold out shows at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. On December 28 and 29, The Dresden Dolls will be performing at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon and will close out 2023 with a New Year’s Eve performance at the UC Theatre in Berkley, California. Now, the Boston-based duo have added two more West Coast dates with two shows in small intimate theaters. The Dresden Dolls have promised to perform new songs, old covers and head-banging old favorites at the new West Coast shows.
The Dresden Dolls is an American alternative band that formed in 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts. Consisting of Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione, who share vocal and instrumental duties between them, they would self-release their first EP back in 2001, before putting out their eponymous debut record in 2003. The Dresden Dolls recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut record. The punk cabaret band returned with their first full tour since 2010 this past May performing 12 dates across the US. The Dresden Dolls are currently working on a new record and have hinted on a major supporting tour.
