Nick Cave is set to kick off his solo North American Tour in just a few days! The tour includes three consecutive shows at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles starting Friday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29.
The coast-to-coast tour kicks off in Asheville, North Carolina on September 19 and includes two Canadian dates at Montreal’s Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier and Toronto’s Massey Hall. Nick Cave will be accompanied by Colin Greenwood on bass guitar. The 21-date tour includes stops at major cities such as Chicago, New York, Dallas, Toronto, and more. Several dates have already sold out on the tour. Due to a high demand, the city of Los Angeles will be getting a third show closing out the tour on Sunday, October 29 at the Orpheum Theatre.
The Australian musician will also be heading out on a US book tour in support of his memoir Faith, Hope and Carnage. The events take place in Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York, Cambridge, Nashville, Austin, and West Hollywood and will feature in-store signings. A new paperback edition of Faith, Hope and Carnage is out in the US on September 19. The book tour kicks off on September 23 in Washington, D.C. closing out on October 30 in West Hollywood’s Book Soup. This fall also brings another special surprise for fans as the Mutiny In Heaven: Nick Cave’s The Birthday Party is set to screen in several locations through out North America and Australia. The film delves deep into the band’s early confrontational performances with never-before-seen personal footage from band members, jaw-dropping concert clips and more all narrated exclusively by the original band members.
