A Ghost-themed pop-up is headed to the Grammy Musuem in Los Angeles, California. Ghost fans can confess their sins at the Ghost Devotional Pop-Up which will run from August 25 through September 17.
As Ghost’s September 11-12 headline stand at the Kia Forum looms ever closer, the LA Grammy Museum has unveiled the Ghost Devotional Pop-Up. As the faithful await the return of Papa Emeritus IV and co. to the City of Angels, they are invited to enter the hand crafted, custom built confession booth and bare their souls. Make amends and leave atoned, with a souvenir photo of the experience. The special custom booth is a Ghost-detailed confession and photo booth for fans to enjoy.
The Ghost Devotional Pop-Up was designed and fabricated by Justin Ware of Creativeware (Beastie Boys Exhibit at Orange County Museum of Art) and built by carpenter and welder Greg S. Gilday (The Mandalorian, Tenet, Westworld). The custom created structure will be accompanied by a museum installation displaying Papa Emeritus III’s outfit worn at the 2015 Grammy Awards —the year Ghost took the Best Metal Performance award for “Cirice” from the band’s third album, Meliora.
This special pop-up is one of many Ghost special events and interactions for fans to enjoy. In February, Metal Myth hosted its first ever pop-up event honoring the heavy metal band. The pop-up served as a museum experience displaying props, memorabilia and art for the 1969 era of Ghost. The event also served as a pre-game party for the Grammy Awards in which the band was nominated for Best Metal Performance. The Swedish theatrical rock band continues to elevate and reaffirm its status as one of the world’s most celebrated creative forces, sharing unique and incredible experiences for fans.
The Ghost Devotional Pop Up is open to Grammy Museum visitors now through Sunday, September 17. Ghost’s RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A. 2023 continues with two final shows in LA at the Kia Forum on September 11 and 12. For more information on the Ghost Pop-Up visit grammymusuem.org.
