Swandive has announced their album release show at the infamous Los Angeles venue the Lodge Room. The band is set to perform on Wednesday, August 9 accompanied by special guest Great Big Cow.
LA-based rock band Swandive is releasing their second studio album, The Lonestar, officially out on Tuesday, August 8. The Lonestar is a 10-track record produced by Ian Ball, engineered by Will Golden and mastered by Moa Ball. The band is set to celebrate their new album’s release with fans at the Lodge Room on Wednesday, August 9 alongside special guest Great Big Cow. The band is set to perform The Lonestar in its entirety for the first time in front of a crowd. According to the band’s social media post, the event is said to be a celebration of music and art at large and will be Swandive’s last show for a while.
Swandive is a rock group formed in Los Angeles by Riley Schmedeman, Sebastian Block, Elijah Small, Henry McKenzie, and Max Rubin. The group has become known for their loud rock songs complemented with danceable grooves and pop melodies. They have gained a cult following amongst the underground rock scene of LA. Their debut album Standoff at a Yellow Light was released in 2022 and with their follow up record to be released this August paired with its lead single, “Opposite Day”.
