Slipknot’s frontman Corey Taylor has announced a solo headlining tour for this fall. The tour includes a stop at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern on Thursday, October 5 with special guests Wargasm and Luna Aura.
Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter, actor and New York Times best-selling author Corey Taylor is embarking on a headlining tour this fall in honor of his forthcoming solo album CMF2, out September 15. The U.S. leg of the tour kicks off on August 25 in Denver, CO and concludes on October 7 in Sacramento, CA during the Aftershock Festival. The tour includes stops at cities such as Chicago, Boston, Cincinnati, Dallas, and more. Before his final show, Taylor is set to make a stop at LA’s The Wiltern on October 5. This event includes the option for fans to purchase standard tickets which include virtual commemorative tickets, VIP package options one which includes a front row attendance to a pre-show sound check and another that includes premium merchandise and early entry. Taylor’s tour is also taking part in Live Nation’s Summer’s Live in which fans can purchase four tickets for $80 until August 1.
The upcoming album CMF2 follows up Taylor’s 2020 solo debut CMFT, which featured the No.1 Billboard Active Rock single “Black Eyes Blue” and streaming sensation “CMFT Must Be Stopped” featuring Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie. The LP hit No.6 on Billboard’s US Top Rock Albums charts. CMF2 is Taylor’s first album for BMG and the first on his own label imprint, Decibel Cooper Recordings. Taylor release the first single “Beyond” back in May reaching the Top 15 at Rock Radio in just six weeks and No.1 spot on Spotify’s Rock Hard playlist. Last week, Taylor released the latest single “Post Traumatic Blues” in which Taylor attempts to describe what it is like to deal with PTSD.
