Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young opens his Coastal Tour with a four-night residency at The Ford in Los Angeles, California. Los Angeles Philharmonic announces the addition of four shows to The Ford 2023 Season with Neil Young performing from Friday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 5.
The LA Phil announced four special concerts featuring Neil Young at The Ford set for June 30, July 1, 3, and 5. The legendary artist pulls from his extensive catalog across four nights, performing songs he’s rarely played live. Young’s Coastal Tour opens with The Ford four-night residency and features special guest Chris Pierce. The four-night residency will be his first set of headlining solo shows in Los Angeles since 2018.
Young is set to tour across the West Coast with a 15-date tour. Due to a high demand, Yong has added a couple of more dates across the coast and is set to stop by cities such as Berkley, Napa, Auburn, Los Angeles, and more. Following the four-night opening shows at The Ford, Young will head up the coast before returning once again to SoCal with two more shows in LA this time performing at The Greek Theatre mid-July. The Coastal Tour is set to run from June 30 through July 24.
Neil Young is a singer, songwriter, filmmaker, and environmentalist. Young launched his solo career in 1968 after departing Buffalo Springfield to release his self-titled solo debut. Young became widely known for critically acclaimed records Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, After The Gold Rush, Harvest, On The Beach, and others. The folk rock artist is also recognized for his unique guitar work, deep emotional lyricism and signature high tenor voice. Young has been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, first in 1995 for his solo career and once again two years later as a member of Buffalo Springfield. Young has also won three Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song, Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package and MusiCares Person of the Year, as well as earned countless Grammy-nominations for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song.
