Mac Sabbath To Deliver Two SoCal Shows This September

The metal band Mac Sabbath serve two SoCal shows this September with the rAdolescents. The bands will deliver some heavy metal to Palmdale and Garden Grove, California on September 1st and 2nd.

Born from the bowels of Outer Space, Mac Sabbath is here to bring a dinner rock revolution to the OC. The LA-based band announced the new dates promising to deliver “all the red and yellow.” The special two date, two city lineup will share the stage with the biggest assemblage of The rAdolescents alumni since the blue album. Four of five original members including Casey Royer on drums, Rikk Agnew on guitar, Alfie Agnew on guitar, Dan Colburn on bass, and Frank Agnew Jr. on vocals return as the rAdolescents. The shows feature a special mini set from The Hajj and the Bad Brains tribute band The Big Takeover.

Mac Sabbath is best known for mixing their raucous comedy with borderline-horrific theatrics and their metal sound. Mac Sabbath puts on a theatrical, multimedia stage show — complete with a smoking grill, laser-eyed clowns, bouncing burgers, sing-alongs, and many more magical surprises. The band has been named by Buzzfeed as one of the “13 Metal Bands You Didn’t Know How to React To” and as LA’s “Best Tribute Band” by LA Weekly. Mac Sabbath is composed of vocalist Ronald Osbourne, guitarist Slayer MacCheeze, bassist Grimalice, and drummer The Catburglar. The parody heavy metal tribute band formed in 2014 primarily focuses on Black Sabbath songs rewriting the lyrics to match their fast food imagery and personas. Pulling inspiration from McDonald’s McDonaldland characters, the band criticizes the corporate food industry all around from the lack of nutrition in fast food and low wage jobs. The band gained popularity for their “Iron Man” parody “Frying Pan” receiving widespread online coverage.
