Bryan Adams, full name Bryan Guy Adams, is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter, photographer, and social activist. He was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, on November 5, 1959. With the success of his blockbuster albums Cuts Like a Knife (1983) and Reckless (1984), Adams became one of the most well-known and lucrative music artists of the 1980s.
Adams embarked on a four-month Canadian tour the same year he released his debut album of the same name. After releasing You Want It, You Got It in 1981, he embarked on a six-month tour of the United States. He became well-known thanks to his efforts. Additionally, during the American rock band Journey’s 1983 tour, Adams was one of the opening performers. Reckless, his fourth album, was his biggest seller in 1984. Later recordings include Shine a Light (2019), 11 (2008), Bare Bones (2010), Tracks of My Years (2014), Get Up (2015), and Into the Fire (1987), Waking up the Neighbors (1991), So Far So Good (1993), and a theatrical adaptation of the 1990 film Pretty Woman: The Musical stage version, Adams and Vallance also composed the score. It premiered in Chicago in March of 2018 and headed to broadway later that year.
