Music Will is hosting its annual benefit on May 2, 2023 at The Novo in Los Angeles, California. The even will celebrate and honor Grammy Award-winning artists Tom Morello, Babyface and Idina Menzel. The event will feature amazing performances, special guests and a night of music and empowerment.
This year’s Music Will Benefit Concert will honor Tom Morello, Babyface and Idina Menzel. The award-winning artists are set to perform and joined by special guests for an incredible night filled with music. All proceeds from the event will support Music Will’s mission to transform children’s lives by providing access to music education in schools. Music Will is the largest nonprofit music program for schools in the United States. In the last 20 years, the organization has helped 6,000 schools across all 50 states impacting over a million students.
Tom Morello is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, best known from Rage Against the Machine, his constant activism and philanthropy work. Morello is an icon in music known for his innovative guitar solos. He is a founding member of Audioslave, Prophets of Rage and more. Morello has been involved in many political and social causes fighting for human rights, labor rights and anti-war activism.
The 12-time Grammy Award-winning artist Babyface is known for his lasting impact on the world of music and activism. The R&B singer-songwriter and record producer has written and produced numerous hits for major artists including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton and more. With nine solo albums under his belt, Babyface has been referred to as one of the greatest producers of all time.
The Queen of Broadway Idina Menzel will also be honored at the Music Will Benefit show and celebrated for her achievements and philanthropy encouraging self-expression and supporting the youth through her art center programs. Aside from being one of the top Broadway voices the Tony Award winner is also an actress appearing as Elsa’s voice in Disney’s Frozen, Enchanted and more.
