US Girls at The Foundry on April 15th

Art-pop singer US Girls will be playing at The Foundry at the Fillmore on Saturday, April 15th. Her Bless This Mess Tour features special guest Jane Inc.

The Toronto-based project began in 2007 by Meghan Remy. Remy grew up in Illinois and formed her first punk band as a teen with her influences being riot grrrl and Crass. She played in Chicago and Portland bands until going recording solo in 2008.

She released the album Half Free and performed it at festivals in 2016. Her sixth album In a Poem Unlimited was added to Pitchfork’s Best New Music. In 2021, Remy released a book called Begin by Telling that depicts memories through lyric essays. This year she released her new album Bless This Mess.
