Tamino at The Foundry on April 19th

Indie rock artist Tamino will be performing at The Foundry on Wednesday, April 19th with special guest People Museum.

The Belgian-Egyptian musician and model, aka Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad, was introduced at a young age to The Beatles, Satie, Chopin and Arabic music. He was vocally trained at Amsterdam Royal Conservatory. The singer won a musical talent competition in 2017 and began playing at festivals. In 2018, Tamino released his first studio album Amir and toured his first headline show the next year.

Amir features an orchestra consisting of mostly professional musicians who fled from Syria and Iraq. The Independent ranked Amir in their Top 10 Albums of 2018. Tamino has also won the Anchor Award at Reeperbahn Festival the same year.
