Avenged Sevenfold Return With First LA Headlining Show in 14 Years

Heavy Metal legends Avenged Sevenfold return to the stage with newly announced 2023 shows. Adding to the already announced shows Avenged Sevenfold are set to perform in Los Angeles and New York. The band will be accompanied by Falling In Reverse and Pussy Riot for their first LA show in over a decade on June 9 at Inglewood’s Kia Forum.

After a series of teasers and alluring posts, Avenged Sevenfold announced their upcoming eighth studio album Life Is But A Dream. The album is set to release on June 2, 2023, via Warner Records. This will be their first record in seven years following 2016’s The Stage. In honor of their upcoming record, the band has announced two headlining performances in Los Angeles and New York. Special guests Falling In Reverse and Pussy Riot will accompany the renowned band in both shows. Avenged Sevenfold is also set to make special appearances in various music festivals throughout 2023 such as Aftershock, Louder Than Life and others.

Avenged Sevenfold formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California. The multi-platinum group debuted into the metalcore scene with their album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. The progressive metal band became widely known for their diverse rock sound and dramatic imagery. Their sound continued to evolve over the years as they did not shy away from exploring new rock styles. The band earned their first Grammy nomination in 2018 for their album The Stage for Best Rock Songs. Avenged Sevenfold has sold over 10 million albums worldwide and earned two consecutive No. 1 album on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart with 2010’s Nightmare and 2013’s Hail To The King. The heavy metal band has impacted various artists and different media creating four original sounds for the Call of Duty: Black Ops series. Avenged Sevenfold is M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, Synyster Gates, Johnny Christ, and Brooks Wackerman.
