Galantis is one of the most exciting acts in the world right now. As a DJ and producer, Galantis has released hits with artists like Halsey and Kygo, but his career began in 2009 when he started performing under the alias Otto Knows. Galantis was born Niclas Fridell in Finland and grew up in Germany. He began his journey as a producer at age 16 when he started making house music and remixes for other artists.
Featuring Christian Karlsson, Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw, Galantis is a Swedish duo who took their rightful place in the music industry where electronic dance music meets pop. Since the early 2010s, their productive output has allowed them to score hits such as the multi-platinum “Runaway (U & I),” “Peanut Butter Jelly,” and “No Money” from their first two albums. Top Dance/Electronic Albums-charting Pharmacy (2015); and number four-charting The Aviary (2017). During the pandemic, they doubled their success by hitting number four on the U.S. dance charts with album Church before sitting on top of the U.K. dance charts with “Heartbreak Anthem” (2021) featuring David Guetta and Little Mix.
