For the first time in four years Christine and the Queens is set to perform in the United States with several shows in California. The French singer is set to make a stop in Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, April 19 and will be accompanied by Lewis OfMan.
Christine and the Queens joins the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup once again. The experimental pop artist performed in Coachella back in 2019 and now is set to perform once again in the star studded music festival this year. In between his Coachella weekend sets, Christine and the Queens will perform two SoCal shows. The synth pop artist will make an appearance at San Diego’s Humphreys Concerts By the Bay on April 17 and headline a LA show on April 19.
The French singer released his third and latest studio album, Redcar les adorales étoiles, in November 2022 under the alter ego named Redcar. Nominated for over 60 awards, Chris has won a dozen awards including U.K.’s Association of Independent Music Award in 2016 for Independent Breakthrough of the Year, and two NME Awards in 2017.
Héloïse Adélaïde Letissier, professionally known as Christine and the Queens, Chris or Redcar, released his critically acclaimed debut album Chaleur humaine in 2014. In 2017, the French artist was placed in Forbes’ 30 most influential and talented people under 30. The singer-songwriter released his second studio album, Chris, in 2018. Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown, Letissier became one of the most active artists with livestream performances which included a series of theatrical performances. Christine and the Queens is known for his unique sound with experimental influences and moving live performances.
