

Country music icon Willie Nelson is celebrating his 90th birthday with a bang. The superstar is set to perform a two-day star-studded concert on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 at Los Angeles’s Hollywood Bowl.
America’s favorite country music legend is throwing a grant birthday party featuring some of his closest friends and colleagues. The two-day festivity includes performances from over 35 musicians including Neil Young, Chris Stapleton, Snoop Dogg, Kacey Musgraves, The Chicks, The Lumineers, Ziggy Marley, and many more. This highly anticipated celebration is surely one for the books.
Willie Nelson is best known for his critical successful 1973 album Shotgun Willie. Recognized as one of the pioneers of outlaw country, Nelson has impacted and inspired a wave of new music reaching through generations. Nelson has not only impacted people through music but also through his constant activism and philanthropy work. Alongside Neil Young and John Mellencamp, Nelson set up Farm Aid to help family farms. He is also widely known to advocate for the legalization of marijuana.
With just two albums shy from having released 100 albums total, Nelson has also released several books and has an extensive list of contributions and films. Recently, Nelson has been nominated to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 13-time Grammy Award-winning artist has earned four more Grammy nominations this year for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards including Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, Best Country Album, and Best Roots Gospel Album.
