Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Return to LA on June 9

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Garbage are heading on a co-headlining tour this summer. Metric will also join the two on several dates across the United States including a stop at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Friday, June 9.

Recently the two rock bands announced their co-headlining summer tour. The 25-date tour hits major cities such as Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Toronto and more. The tour has been newly expanded with the addition of a show in Atlanta. The Los Angeles event includes a Virtual Commemorative Tickets, a free unique digital keepsake that comes with every ticket purchased.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds makes their major return to the states with their first show in LA in four years. Formed by former Oasis founding member Noel Gallagher in 2010, the band is soon to release their fourth studio album Council Skies, set to release in June 2023. After departing the brotherly duo of Oasis, Noel Gallagher set off to form a solo project. In 2011, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds released its debut self-titled album. The English rock band combines a series of genres such as alternative, psychedelic and baroque pop.

The post-grunge rock band Garbage is best known for their hit songs such as “Stupid Girl,” “Crush,” and “I Think I’m Paranoid.” The Wisconsin band formed in 1993 and consists of vocalist Shirly Manson, multi-instrumentalist Duke Eikson, guitarist Steve Marker, and drummer Butch Vig. In 1995, the band released their widely critically acclaimed self-titled album. Their latest record No Gods No Masters was released in 2021. Throughout their three decades long career the band has earned several Grammy Award nominations including for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group in 1997 and again in 2000.
