Depeche Mode have expanded their highly anticipated 2023 North American tour. The spring tour has now extended into a fall tour with more stops in major cities including Los Angeles this December.
The new fall shows include two SoCal shows. Depeche mode has added a second date at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday, Dec. 10 and a Crypto.com Arena show in Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 15. The tour is in honor of the group’s highly anticipated upcoming album Momento Mori set to release March 24, 2023.
Depeche Mode was founded in 1980 by Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke. Following the untimely death of Fletcher in 2022, Gahan and Gore were unsure of the future of Depeche Mode. Fans were glad to see Gahan and Gore announce their upcoming album Momento Mori and a full tour starting late March 2023. This will be Depeche Mode’s 15th studio album and first record release without co-founder Fletcher.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have over 40 years in experience and continue to surprise fans with incredible new music. The band has teased their new album releasing three singles from the 12-track record including “Ghost Again,” “Wagging Tongue” and “My Favourite Stranger.” In honor of the enthusiastic reception of their new singles Depeche Mode have expanded their North American tour dates with a new fall leg. This tour will be the band’s first world tour since 2018.
