Café Tacvba W/ LA Phil At The Hollywood Bowl On July 21st & 22nd

Café Tacvba is set to collaborate with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a two-night event at the Hollywood Bowl. One of the world’s most prestigious philharmonic will showcase the Mexican rock band’s catalog in an electrifying and reimagined way on July 21 and 22.

Latin alternative rock band Café Tacvba are coming to Hollywood to celebrate their extraordinary musical catalog. The Mexican rock band commemorate over 30 years of music with a special collaboration with the LA Philharmonic. Legendary conductor Gustavo Dudamel will lead the LA Phil during this special performance. The two-night spectacular is part of the Hollywood Bowl’s Weekend Spectaculars.

The band formed in 1989 and is composed of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Rubén Albarrán, keyboardist Emmanuel del Real, lead guitarist Joselo Rangel and bassist Enrique Rangel. The band grew popular for their English and Spanish mixed influences. The band has managed to incorporate different musical styles such as punk, ska, electronica, hip hop, norteño, ranchera and more into their sound.

The Grammy winning artist Café Tacvba is also known for their prevalent advocacy among their lyrics touching on environmental justice and communal welfare. The band has also won 10 Latin Grammy Awards and have inspired several artists from different genres throughout the years.
