Flume is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his self-titled debut album with a performance in Los Angeles, California. Flume is set to be accompanied by special guests Chet Faker, KUČKA and others on Friday, May 5 at the Kia Forum.
The Australian DJ and music producer is set to perform a very special headlining show in LA in honor of the 10th anniversary of his debut record. 10 Years of Flume celebrates a full decade of his first collection, which reached double-platinum accreditation in Australia. Flume will be accompanied by Australian singers Chet Faker and KUČKA as well as special guests yet to be announced.
Ahead of his special headlining show, Flume released a new compilation of songs that were once locked away in his old laptops. Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan, is an album composed of 10 tracks that did not make it onto his albums Flume, Skin and Places. Fans have the opportunity to listen to Flume’s musical development throughout the years with his old-school anthems.
The Grammy-winning DJ is best known for his sophomore album, Skin, which includes the international hit single “Never Be Like You.” Flume is also recognized as a pioneer of future bass, helping the genre become what it is today. Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2012, Flume collaborated with artists such as Moon Holiday, Jezzabell Doran and Chet Faker. The album was released in the U.S. in 2013 receiving immense support from American critics and ultimately aiding to Flume’s launch to stardom.
