Tove Lo at The Fillmore on February 9th

Swedish pop artist Tove Lo will be performing on her Dirt Femme Tour at The Fillmore Philly on Thursday, February 9th with special guest Slayyyter. Tove Lo has collaborated with many artists including Lorde, Ellie Goulding, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa and Coldplay.

Born in Stockholm, Tove Lo, a.k.a. Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, started from playing in a band in high school to songwriting for artists like Girls Aloud and Icona Pop. Tove Lo debuted as a solo artist with her 2012 single “Love Ballad”. Her release of “Habits (Stay High)” in 2013 led to a commercial breakthrough, a significant online following and a record deal with Universal Music. Her debut studio album, Queen of the Clouds, gained attention with its two singles “Habits (Stay High): and “Talking Body”. She promoted her second album, Lady Wood, while opening for Maroon 5’s The Maroon V Tour. Her follow-up records, Blue Lips and Sunshine Kitty, were released and performed well.

Tove Lo’s latest album Dirt Femme was released on October 14, 2022 and explores themes of body positivity as well as femininity. The album features the single “How Long” in promotion to soundtrack of the second season of the teen drama Euphoria.
