The Interrupters and Frank Turner are heading on the road with a North American tour in spring 2023. The tour is set to conclude in SoCal with a stop at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern on Friday, June 2, 2023.
The Interrupters will be joined by Frank Turner on majority of the tour except for 12 selected dates. The 30-date tour includes stops in cities such as Seattle, Chicago, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, and many more. The Interrupters will close off the tour in the west coast with two final shows in SoCal including at The Wiltern on June 2 and the House of Blues in Anaheim on June 3. The tour includes special guests Chuck Ragan, Bedouin Soundclash, Hepcat, Left Alone, The Skints, Lara Jane Grace, and The Bandulus on selected dates.
The Los Angeles-based band formed in 2011 and first gained popularity for their second record Say It Loud, released August 2014, which reached No. 7 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album chart. The band consists of vocalist Aimee Interrupter, guitarist Kevin Bivona, bassist Justin Bivona, and drummer Jesse Bivona. The ska punk band is best known for their lead single “She’s Kerosene” which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart.
The new-wave ska band released their fourth and latest album, In the Wild, on Aug. 5, 2023. The album reached several charts around the world. The Interrupters are also known for their high energy and overall great shows. The punk rock group is also set to appear in various music festivals throughout 2023 such as Punk Rock Bowling 2023, California Roots Festival 2023, Southside Festival 2023, and more.
