Indie pop artist Molly Burch is one of the many artists contributing to the large repertoire of holiday music. In 2019 she released her holiday album The Molly Burch Christmas Album, and now in 2022 she’s released two more holiday singles, “Cozy Christmas” and “December Baby.”
“Cozy Christmas” sings about the love for Christmas and sharing the love with that special someone, particularly the second verse after the chorus that mentions kissing under the mistletoe and being in the kitchen together for some “sugar and spice.” The song is a great option for an upbeat and poppy holiday pick.
“December Baby” on the other hand is a slower and sultry piece that talks about after the holiday, talking about the snow melting and reminiscing on the holiday and how the spirit from the holidays just doesn’t last like we wish it could.
