The Flaming Lips have extended the American Head American Tour into 2023. The indie rock band have added seven new dates for An Evening with The Flaming Lips: American Head American Tour. The tour is set to make a stop on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.

The veteran psychedelic rock band recently concluded the North American leg of their tour on Nov. 21 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California after rescheduling the show several times. The Flaming Lips performed their grand finale with a blown-out party full of confetti and dance. The Grammy Award-winning band is one of the most charismatic live acts, creating unique experiences at each of their performances.

The Flaming Lips released a six CD box set in honor of the 20^th anniversary of Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. The collection includes six CDs, a booklet and a poster. Fans can now enjoy the collection of live tracks, LPS and demos. The group also released a concert documentary The Flaming Lips Space Bubble Film available for streaming on The Criterion Channel.

The Oklahoma City indie band wished to extend the celebration of their 16^th studio album, American Head, into 2023. The Flaming Lips have yet to take a break from touring after traveling the world for nearly the entire year of 2022.
