If you love country, you’ll love that Carrie Underwood is coming to Miami to perform her best hits at the FTX Arena on February 2nd!
Carrie Marie Underwood was born on March 10, 1983, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and had a more simple life raised on a farm. “I had a very happy childhood full of the wonderful simple things that children love to do,” Underwood has stated. “Growing up in the country, I enjoyed things like playing on dirt roads, climbing trees, catching little woodland creatures and, of course, singing.”
During her senior year of college, in 2004, Carrie Underwood tried out for American Idol. Not only did she get the golden ticket, but she became the winner of the show’s fourth season. Her follow-up single to “Inside your heaven” that earned her a place on the top of the Billboard pop chart was not just winner’s luck. “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” shot to the top of the country charts. The song was important for Carrie Underwood to prove that not only was she not a one hit wonder, but that the win from American Idol was not the only accomplishment of her career. Underwood won the ACM and CMA awards for Single of the Year, along with Grammys for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best New Artist.
In 2021, Underwood released her first official gospel album titles My Savior, and it won the best gospel album Grammy in 2022.
