Free Beastie Boys Exhibit Coming To LA From Dec. 10 – Jan. 13

A Bestie Boys exhibit is coming to Los Angeles this December featuring never before seen photographs, memorabilia, personal items and more. Beginning Dec. 10, fans will be able to see archival items and relive the Beastie Boys’ history in-person from December through January at the art gallery Beyond the Streets.

The street art gallery Beyond the Streets is set to open a free and fully immersive museum-styled Exhibit of the legendary hip-hop group Beastie Boys. The exhibition will include archival items, memorabilia, personal items, and so much more spanning over the near 40-year career of the Beatie Boys. Fans can expect to see for the first time everything from original handwritten lyrics to clothing and musical instruments used by the superstars.

The Beastie Boys made history by becoming the first rap act to chart a Billboard top album with the 1986 Licensed to Ill. The group quickly became infamous for their blend of punk, hardcore, hip-hop and comedy. The Beastie Boys became one of the biggest acts impacting all sorts of cultures and influencing art, style and activism throughout generations. The group officially disbanded in 2012 following the passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch from cancer.

From their earliest recordings to releasing seven multi-platinum albums, Exhibit offers a deep dive into the history of the hip-hop icons. From their rap debut of Licensed to Ill, to Grammy-winning Hello Nasty, and their last offering of Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, all will e told through a collection of artifacts and ephemera only made available for the Exhibit.

No memorabilia or vintage merchandise will be up for sale. Though there will be exclusive merchandise and printed matter available within the gallery gift shop for the duration of the Exhibit.

In partnership with Goldenvoice and Beyond the Streets, fans can witness the near 40-year history of the Beastie Boys through and immersive museum-style curation starting Saturday, December 10 through Friday, January 13, 2023.
