Orlove By Night and 1720 present Hot Chip, a DJ set, on Thursday, December 15 at 1720 in Los Angeles, California. The performance is said to be accompanied by special guests Waev and Karam.

The English pop group Hot Chip are set to bring their DJ set to Downtown Los Angeles this December. Referred to as one of the greatest of their generation, Hot Chip brings a unique synthesis of indie and dance music. The club music masters will be accompanied by Waev and Karam for a 21 and over exclusive performance on Thursday, December 15 at the iconic LA venue the 1720 warehouse.

Hot Chip returns to LA this December for a special party performance. The synthpop band is set for their first performance in LA since 2019. Hot Chip returns to SoCal following their latest tour back in spring in promotion of their eight-studio album, Freakout/ Release, released on August 19, 2022.

Hot Chip formed in 1995 in London. The English synthpop band is known for their alternative dance music and mixture of house and disco. Started as a recording project in a bedroom, the group now performs in major stages such as Positivus Festival, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and more. The group earned a Grammy nomination for the Best Dance Recording Award in 2009 for their song “Ready for the Floor” featured in their third album Made in the Dark.

The event is part of the Orlove series, an entertainment organization responsible for crafting the most sought out after parties in the U.S. with over 250 parties per year. Some parties include the SuperSecret New Years Eve party at The Virgil, Daft Disko, Deap House Brunch, and many more.
