Billie Eilish announced three special hometown shows, Happier Than Ever, The Hometown Encore, as a celebration to her highly successful global tour this year. The three shows are set to take place this December 13th, 15th and 16th at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
The seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist and songwriter recently announced two encore shows in Los Angeles. However, due to popular demand Eilish has added a third date to the encore series. The three special hometown shows titled Happier Than Ever, The Hometown Encore will take place at the Kia Forum this December.
The three encore shows celebrate the success of not only her recent tour but also her sophomore album Happier Than Ever. The album debuted at No.1 in the Billboard 200 in 20 different countries across the globe. The 20-year-old Los Angeles based artist remains one of the biggest stars this century.
The singer-songwriter is best known for her hit debut single “Ocean Eyes.” The artist has shattered several ceilings of music with her genre-defying sound. Her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, released in 2019 also topped at No.1 on the Billboard 200 in 18 different countries.
Eilish made history becoming the youngest artist to receive nominations and win all major categories at the 62nd Grammy Awards, receiving awards for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Eilish is also the youngest artist to write and record an official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die,” which won an Academy Award for Best Song this year.
