Muse announced their Will Of The People World Tour coming to North America in spring 2023 with a stop at Los Angeles on April, 6, 2023. The news was announced as Muse currently tours their four-date theatre shows in North America.
Muse will be accompanied by gothic rock band Evanescence for the 2023 North American Tour. The tour consists of 20 dates across North America and is in promotion of the band’s ninth studio album, Will of the People. The tour will be followed by the summer 2023 European leg tour with special guest Royal Blood.
In August 2022, Muse released their ninth studio album after teasing fans with the release of several clips and full singles months prior. Will of the People follows the 2018 album Simulation Theory. Muse recorded their ninth studio album in Los Angeles and London. As lead singer Matt Bellamy stated, the album is inspired by the increasing uncertainty and instability in the world such as the pandemic, wars, protests and so much more.
Muse is composed of lead singer Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard. The English rock band formed in 1994 releasing their debut album, Showbiz, in 1999. Muse earned their first Grammy Award in 2011 for their fifth studio album The Resistance. In 2016, they won their second Grammy Award for Best Rock Album with their seventh studio album, Drones.
