Yungblud has partnered with Amazon Music to perform three free concerts in three different venues on Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Strip on Thursday, Sept. 8. The Sunset Strip take-over is Yunblud’s major celebration of his new album, Yungblud- The Album, visiting The Viper Room, Whisky a Go Go and The Roxy.
The pop punk artist is celebrating the release of his third full-length album in the most rock and roll way possible, by taking over LA’s Sunset Strip. Yungblud shared the announcement via social media. He will be performing three free concerts at The Viper Room, Whisky a Go Go and The Roxy. Though the order in which each performance will take place remains a mystery, all three venues are closely located together on the same street in West Hollywood. The shows are on a first come first serve basis, but do not worry as all shows will be livestreamed on Twitch with Amazon Music.
Yungblud’s third studio album released on Sept. 2 via Locomotion and Geffen Records. The album includes the lead single “The Funeral,” “Memories” with Willow and more. The multi-awards winning artist is known for his incredible songwriting and social messages embedded into his work. Yungblud has been seen in many protests alongside fans for human rights marches and social change demonstrations such as March for Our Lives, a student-led demonstration for gun control, and George Floyd protests, Black Lives Matter and civil unrest against police brutality.
Yunblud has been compared to Nirvana, My Chemical Romance, The Cure and more. He is most recognized for his hit single “fleabag” and has collaborated with major artists such as Halsey, Travis Barker, Dan Reynolds and many others. The 25-year-old English rock star is also beloved for his high energy live performances, creating unique experiences and personal interactions with fans.
